Growing a Farmer

Kurt Timmermeister's book is a wonderful narration of 24 year old entrepreneur who starts off his business venture by opening a small cafe two blocks from his studio in the city of Seattle. Despite being successful he seeks to run away from the busy city life to find solitude in Vashon Island, a town which is 15 minutes from Seattle through a ferry.

The author describes of his assumed charm for the place for the glum reality l, which leads the young entrepreneur to opt to buy the house. However pointing to his lack of knowledge the author describes the difficulties he faces in terms of commute and the darkness that overshadows the place. But the persistent man decides to overcome his problems by purchasing a license and eventually deciding to enter into farming eventually growing himself as a farmer.
